Welcome to our German Shepherd page. We really have come to love this breed. They're outstanding family pets. In fact, if you ever wondered where your shepherd was, all you'd have to do is to look at your feet! I guarantee, that's where he'd be. They're really people oriented. The line we breed is from Germany, and are AKC registered. They're considered "working" class dogs. They're big boned, and have less drop in their hips than the "American" line. That's not to say they're not show quality, but they're more of what you would expect to see in the working class shows. Our line is bred mainly for temperament, size, and color. We're especially fond of the black and tan, black and red, all black, and the rare, sable. These are the color combinations we're striving for, but, most importantly, we're striving for a non-aggressive, loving, family pet. We're also looking at bone structure. We want the big-boned shepherd that really is classic for the breed. Our shepherds range between 60-120 pounds when full grown. Lastly, we breed for strong hips. Hip problems are rarely seen in our dogs! Do they occur? It can, but the best any breeder can do is to do everything possible to keep it out of the line they're working with, and that's what we do!
